JAZZMEDIA presents: August 11, 2007 JazzStage on the Open-Air Event PLANET PRO BERLIN

planetProBerlin2007.jpgJazz and their multilayered scenes are booming globally at present; cultural differences enriches jazz ever since, barriers abolish effortlessly, because jazz was always a universal language. To give this genre a big stage is one of the targets of this years mega open-air event PLANET PRO BERLIN 2007 between famous "Brandenburger Gate" and "Siegessäule", after last year's Soccer World Championships also called "fan mile".

In the course of this, jazz integrates various ethnics and generations without any consideration of social or other backgrounds, both on the creative side as in the recipient corner. In international comparison Germany is able to bring up unique and absolute competitive jazz music. Till now a steady major event is to be missed in Germany, which bundle up the fresh present jazz scene and present this all in front of an international audience as usual as in other European countries.

Such an initiative should be a valueable, immediate economic sponsorship and above that, induces further attention to increase German jazz.

We from JAZZMEDIA & MORE take this as an occasion to present bands and projects of different styles to present it in one of the most pulsating and exciting music capitols. Directly at the well-known "Brandenburg Gate" you can hear from 12 am to 10 pm 8 groups from Germany, Switzerland and Denmark, who give their very best and will enthusiast the audience free of charge.

After the cost free open-air day events it goes on in 2 locations with full night concerts of 4 band projects. At "Grüner Salon", in the theatre "Volksbühne", Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, Berlin-Mitte Swiss group MEMELLOW and German master trumpeter Thomas Siffling and his trio will perform from 10pm to morning light.

At jazzclub "b-flat", Rosenthaler Strasse 13, Berlin-Mitte, already from 9 pm the German groups LOTUS QUINTET and the duo FRIEDHELM SCHÖNFELD & GERHARD KUBACH performs on b-flat stage with full concerts.
