JAZZMEDIA presents: "JAZZ FOLK & BIKE"

JazzFolkBike.jpg"Jazz, Folk & Bike" this is a special sort of a festival: with your bike cycle through folk and jazz in Syke near Bremen in northern Germany.

Gerd Harthus and his team already won the tourism award of "Niedersachsen" last year. He offers music fans from 3rd to 4th of September 2005 again an impressive observation of nature combined with improvised music of the highest level.

Musical drawers are far gone for the promoters. In the genres between folk, jazz, blues and world music there are so many exciting projects, that unprejudiced music fans again and again find incredible moments in each performance. How about the Cologne froup "Talking Horns" acting in the middle of a forest? Or a saxophone solo in a middle age brick church? And in the evening music in a museum, you also can dance and sing too.

On sunday morning things continue in "Brüning's Gasthaus" and in a water mill. The closing concerts take place in the early afternoon. What a weekend!!!

The festival is supported by the "Oldenburgische Landesbank Syke".

These are the locations: Kreismuseum Syke, Wassermühle Barrien, Bartholomäuskirche Barrien, Brünings Gasthof Syke, Wolfsschlucht Syke

Highlights this year: Inga Rumpf, Germany's beste Bluesactress; ART AF ORYX, the young, adventorous "Wild One's" from Berlin and Cologne; Rudy Rotta, Killer guitarist and European Bluesking and much more...
